Katherine Travis
Katherine Travis received her undergraduate degree in Engineering Science from Smith College, and her Masters and PhD in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University. Katherine began working in the Chemistry and Dynamics Branch at NASA Langley Research Center in 2019. Her research focuses on improving our ability to understand the drivers of air pollution through the use of modeling, satellite retrievals, aircraft field campaigns, and surface observations. She is a member of the TEMPO science team, serves on the steering committee for the GEOS-Chem chemical transport model, and has been involved in a number of airborne field campaigns, most recently the Airborne and Satellite Investigation of Asian Air Quality (ASIA-AQ).
