With regards to restaurants, Halifax has a wealth of places to eat. Many
are located along Quinpool Road or Spring Garden Road (near the conference
hotels). Many more are located downtown. As well, the Dalhousie Residence
Dining hall is open for dinner. For more information, you can go to
http://www.halifaxdining.ca. Health inspection information is also on-line at
http://www.gov.ns.ca/agri/foodsafety/reports/.

The map below shows the main conference venues and hotels as well as
two of the more useful bus routes. Near-by drug stores and grocery stores
are also indicated. Drug store chains are Lawton’s, PharmaSave, and Shopper’s
Drug Mart. Grocery store chains include Atlantic SuperStore and Sobey’s.
