IGAC 2021 Going Virtual

ANNOUNCMENT: IGAC 2021 Conference Moves to Virtual Format

IGAC has always been an inclusive scientific community with an emphasis on collaborations within the international community. We believe that the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19’s containment and ongoing international travel restrictions would make an in-person conference less inclusive than a virtual conference.

After careful consideration, the IGAC Scientific Steering Committee has made the decision to shift the IGAC 2020/2021 conference to a fully virtual conference. We are excited to explore the possibilities of a virtual conference and hope to foster the networking and connections that the IGAC community is known for by leveraging the accessibility of virtual platforms. Our hope is to specifically support early career researcher development and networking during this conference.

Look for future announcements in the next few months on the virtual conference dates, format, abstract submission, and the early career researcher short course. We anticipate allowing previously submitted abstracts and early career short course applications to remain valid or be edited/withdrawn by the submitter.

We look forward to meeting you all in a virtual world in 2021! We plan to host a joint iCACGP-IGAC conference in person in Manchester in 2022, and will be soliciting bids for the 2024 conference soon.
