Mei Zheng is a professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering, and an adjunct professor of Marine Research Institute at Peking University in Beijing, China. She received her Ph.D. from Graduate School of Oceanography, University of Rhode Island in 2000 and worked at School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Institute of Technology from 2000-2010. She joined Peking University since 2010. Her research interests include sources and formation mechanisms of PM2.5 and transport of anthropogenic aerosol to marine environment using chemical tracers and modeling tools.
